Next Working Day Service

 

For our Next Working day service, all orders must be placed by 12.00 noon Monday to Friday. Please note the delivery will be made on the Next Business Working day only, this excludes Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Some of our products are Special Orders, which come direct from our suppliers. Please contact us if you require any further information regarding delivery times etc.


Priority/Saturday Services


This service is only available to customers in England and Wales. Unfortunately, our couriers are unable to deliver to customers in Scotland on a Priority or Saturday Service. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Our aim at WeddingTimeUK is to be as fair and competitive as possible with the cost of delivering your goods.

Orders under the value of £50.00 are usually dispatched by Royal Mail 1st Class Post.
Orders over the value of £50.01 are despatched by Parcel Force

Please note - we reserve the right to use any courier or delivery method at our discretion regardless of the delivery charge that you have paid.

Who are our carriers?
Over 90% of orders are despatched by City Link, the remaining lighter parcels (with an order value of less than £50.00) will be sent by Royal Mail. 
Standard UK Mainland delivery is not a guaranteed priority delivery service and can take approximately 1 - 3 Working days.
Some of our larger items have to be sent on a pallet. Please call us for delivery lead-times & cost on 01427 666025.

I want my order quick, how do I go about doing this?
We offer each of our customers the option of having their goods placed on a Priority/Saturday delivery, this excludes Bank Holidays and weekend periods. The current charge for this service is as above. The service is trackable and you are able to obtain further details by following the details below.

How do I track my parcel?
In order to keep track on the status of your goods, please use our tracking page and use the consignment number that is sent to your via email, when the goods are despatched from our warehouse.

For orders to the above destinations we would mostly use Royal Mail or Parcel Force as our carriers.  Although should the goods ordered be to large to send by the named carriers then we reserve the right to use any courier or delivery method that we see fit.

For orders that exceed our carriers maximum weight and dimensions for deliveries into Europe may be subject to an additional surcharge prior to shipment.

Problems?

In the unlikely event you should have a problem with your order please contact us. We unfortunately are unable to guarantee standard delivery services, as we rely on a third party (our carrier), however, over 98.5% of deliveries are achieved on time.All deliveries are supplied with an invoice detailing all prices and products. Should you loose this, please contact us on 01427 666025 where we will be happy to supply you with another copy.

Q) Can I arrange for my order to be sent to my work address?
A) Yes, at the time an order is placed a different delivery address can be specified.

Q) Can you guarantee delivery for a specific day?
A)
If a priority or Saturday delivery service is applied to an order we can guarantee a day for delivery. With a standard delivery service we cannot guarantee a day for delivery.

Q)Can the parcel be left with a neighbour or in a specified place at my delivery address?
A)Yes, at the time an order is placed we recommend that delivery instructions are provided if there is any chance that you may not be in to receive your delivery. Our courier will follow any instructions given but please bear in mind that we can only provide instructions with a maximum number of 30 characters.

Q) My plans have changed and I will not be in on the day of delivery, what can I do?
A)
After attempting to deliver your goods twice City-Link will return your order to their depot. Please contact the City-Link depot from the card left by them to arrange collection and they will be able to advise on collection times. Please note City-Link will only keep your goods for 3 working days before returning them to us at WeddingTimeUK.
Alternatively, please advise at your earliest convenience if there is somewhere at the property the goods can be left safe, or if a neighbour may be able to sign for these for you. Please be aware that  the courier driver will only leave the goods in this area at his descretion

Q) My order went to the wrong address, how do I get my order?
A)
Please contact our Customer Service team immediately on 01427 666025 who will arrange for your order to be re-delivered at no extra cost.

Q) I have received my delivery after the guaranteed delivery time will you offer any compensation?
A) Please contact our Customer Services team on 01427 666025 who will be able to investigate with our courier the late delivery and advise on any compensation available.

Q) My order was despatched by Royal Mail & I have not received it yet?
A)
Orders sent by Royal Mail 1st Class Post can only be reported as lost after 15 days have elapsed from the despatch date. We will be happy to provide a copy invoice and delivery note to you to enable you to make a claim for compensation with Royal Mail. As soon as the goods have been despatched we cannot accept any liability for goods despatched by Royal Mail 1st Class post on a Standard delivery service.
